Gina Bushelon

Acupuncture Physician

Gina’s journey to Chinese medicine and holistic health began at the dentist’s office when she was 16 years old. “My dentist removed my mercury fillings, and used the least toxic replacement options along with acupuncture and homeopathic medicine. I was truly intrigued!”

Gina doesn’t just practice this medicine. She eats, breathes, walks and talks it. The title “Acupuncture Physician” doesn’t quite cut it. Perhaps this would be more appropriate:

Gina Bushelon: Acupuncture Physician, Massage Therapist, Nutritionist, Chef, Essential Oils Expert, Mother-of-Three, Wife, Kayaker, Bookworm.

Her passion for nutrition begins in her own kitchen where she cooks up creative vegetable dishes, raw meals and healthy desserts, and extends into the treatment room with her patients. “Food is medicine. I love to incorporate diet and nutrition in the healing process.”

Formally speaking, Gina rounds out a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Child Studies from Cornell University in New York, and a Master’s degree from the New England School of Acupuncture in Massachusetts with her massage degree from the National Holistic Institute in California.

Her impressive formal education is not to be overshadowed by the passion and experience she brings to Family Tree Acupuncture, which makes her such a unique practitioner. Take her 17 years of experience in using essential oils, for example.

“I started using them medicinally with my children and now I’ve expanded into using them for household cleaning, diffusing and all sorts of health-related issues.”

Suffice it to say, there is no Neosporin in her medicine cabinet.

Gina is also certified in Acupuncture Injection Therapy which involves the injection of natural therapeutic substances, such as homeopathic remedies or vitamins like B-12 into acupuncture points specific to the patient’s wellness needs.

Gina is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping others achieve their health goals and live more joyous lives. Lucky for you, she’s available right here at Family Tree Acupuncture.
